Tim McNamara

Tim is Renzo Gracie Black Belt, a former MMA fighter, and former North and South Carolina state champion in Judo. Since 2009 he has competed primarily in Brazilian JiuJitsu & submission grappling. Tim regularly competes in open tournaments, professional events, superfights, and invitationals on the east coast. He has been coaching kids, teens, and adults for the past 10 years. Tim holds the rank of black belt in Judo under Shawn Madden under the late Dr. Sachio Ashida. Prior to moving to NYC, Tim worked as a classroom teacher and department chair in North Carolina for 10 years. 

Classes are engaging, structured, timely, and driven by concepts, technical detail, and efficiency.

Zoe Kantor

Zoë received her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification through Yogamaya studio. Zoë weaves her diverse movement background into her yoga teaching, incorporating elements of physical awareness, strength training and mobility work. She is passionate about sharing the spiritual teachings she has learned along her yoga journey. Zoë is a NASM certified personal trainer, a pole dance instructor and Master trainer for ElevatED Pole Fitness Training, and a BJJ white belt.

Kevin Ramkishun

Kevin wrestled at Brooklyn Technical High School where he was a city champion, mayors cup champion, and part of the team that won the school its first team championship. He then continued to wrestle at SUNY Oswego, where he wrestled all four years and was a team captain his senior year. After graduating from SUNY Oswego, he returned to Brooklyn Tech, where he coached wrestling while attending New York Law school. During his last year of law school, Kevin began training jujitsu, and now holds a blue belt under Jin Yung of WorkshopBJJ, and was trained under Mike Torriero - head coach of the Renzo Gracie Wreslting Program.

Troy Hernandez

Troy is a former Division I NCAA wrestler, competing for the University of Pennsylvania. Troy compiled over 50 collegiate wins and two podium finishes of 7th & 8th place in the EIWA Conference.

Prior to his collegiate career, Troy wrestled for Kittatinny Regional High School where he was a 2x Region Champ & 3-time New Jersey state medalist, including a runner-up finish. He finished his high school career with a record of 145-25, ranked in the top 20 in the country at his weight class, and helped Kittatinny to two team state titles.

Troy now focuses his passion for wrestling to helping develop Vagabond students’ stand-up and takedown skills. Troy continues to train BJJ for the past 3 years under Tim McNamara.
